Spartanburg LGBTQ+ youth center regroups from weekend burglary with community support
An LGBTQ+ youth center in Spartanburg is regrouping after a burglary earlier this week, but its directors say their mission to offer queer and trans youth a safe space is unwavering.
Jodi Snyder, program director for the Uplift Outreach Center, told the Herald-Journal Wednesday morning that the outpouring support from the community has been so overwhelming that the center has nearly meeting its fundraising goal.
